We really can’t wait to come back to this space! It felt just like home but better! So much art and love in this home! We loved being able to sleep a family of five in one room and having two porch areas to congregate. So many places, parks, and spaces to walk to and locals to run into! Our host were amazing and proactive with communication which helped since it was a busy stay for us.

Alex and Meredith were Godsends to us. We were escaping the hurricane Helene that destroyed our home town. We had no power no water and no food. We came to Athens to seek shelter. When we arrived to our first Airbnb it was not clean and not in a safe area like described on this platform. We had to scramble to find another place that would be safe for my family. We booked with Alex and Meredith and they were quick to make sure the house was ready (within the hour we booked). They checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The artwork in the house is stunning and is created by Meredith which was a nice bonus. We highly recommend booking with Alex and Meredith!!!

Both originally from the same small town of Vidalia, GA, we somehow never met until we came to college here at the good 'ole UGA. Alex works full time helping people open their own short term rentals and spends his weekends as a raft guide on the Ocoee River. Meredith is an artist specializing in murals and botanical art. (All of the art decorating the properties is hers and available for purchase on her website) We love to travel and explore new places and are so pleased you have chosen our house as your home base for your stay in Athens.
